FreeChat for WhatsApp App Reviews

This app does everything I was looking for - now I can write/respond to WhatsApp messages from my desktop. Simple and free!

i never thought there would be an app to use whatsapp on mac thank you so much now even if i dont have my phone i can use it

it works really well and it’s fast. Only thing, I understand it is not whatsapp itself, but I wish it had more features like whatsapp. It would be nice if more themes were introduced, or the possibility of customizing a conversation’s background, or if we could send selfies from the computer, or send voice recordings from the computer. Or also, it would be nice if the search allowed us to look for a word inside the conversation, not just the name of the person or group chat! :)

Wish that soon we can send voice notes and more media options like selfies!!1

The app does what it says, and not like other WhatsApp chats it is NOT full of adds … FreeChat is really easy to use and youll get the convenience of WhatsApp on your Mac. So far this is the best I have tried, no craps .. realy recomend this to everyone!!! The only non-obvious part of the set-up process is that youll need to use WhatsApp on your phone to scan the bar code.

Today, it was my first day using this app and I love it. So far, I don’t have any negative comments about it

This app works as advertised. Its easy to use and provides a great way to chat and us WhatsApp without the use of a web broswer. The best part its completely FREE! So if you’re thinking about take the chance thers nothing to lose in downloading a free app.

I must have tried almost all the available apps for whatsapp but this is absolutely my favorite. It does what it is supposed to do and does it in stule. It is light, does not hog memory and is a delight to use. Kudos to the developers! Keep up the good work! PS: Thanks for keeping it free!

Just started using it. No problems downloading even with a slow connection. Installation & immediate update by using the QR code and the iPhone web app link. Great to see, edit, and chat on a regular screen/keyboard!

Really cool app no ad, little akward to set up with the QR code but this excepted it’s very convenient to type faster and get it even without your iPhone nearby. A 100 stars !

I would always choose to type on a computer as opposed to texting via phone. This app is very convenient and fits my needs. No complaints thus far. Would recommend.

No spell check (red underlines), otherwise great

I now have my messages with me all the time and i get my photos straight to my computer instead of only my phone. Love the app. A must for everyone. AND ITS FREE crazy.

This is what I’ve been waiting for.

Granted this app is not as feature full as other similiar apps for WhatsApp, but it’s free! So nothing beats it on that. Besides those missing features aren’t that important for me in terms of daily usage, so nothing to complain. Good job Rocky Sand Studio!

Have only been using for one day on my computers, but love it already! Works great on my MacBook Air and also on my Mac Pro (desktop)! Use WhatsApp on your Apple MacBook or iMac or Mac Pro (desktop) computers! I love it! Works great, uses the built-in Apple spell-check and allows you to text all your WhatsApp friends and family from your computer! . . . and it’s FREE!

Handles large video files with ease. A pleasure to use. I use it on my iPhone & Mac. Wish they had a version for my iPad
